Since Oct 7 2023 Ellen O'Grady has been creating comics to inspire the work for a free Palestine, with an emphasis on how we care for ourselves and each other. During college Ellen studied in East Jerusalem, and after school she returned to Palestine where she spent seven years working with grassroots organizations, teaching art and witnessing the Palestinian struggle for liberation in Gaza and the West Bank.
"How Are We To Live" collects 19 of Ellen's comics into one volume. Through a caring hand Ellen's stories trace her experiences in Palestine- providing a depth and human connection to the story being told.
10"x7.75", 40 pages, cover printed in bright red, kelly green, black, and federal blue, with interior pages printed in federal blue.
